Loading three seasons of FBS drives, most of which did not go well…
One drive a day
Take over a real drive.
Each day is a real late-game FBS drive from 2023–2025: the real score, clock, field position, timeouts and players.
Call every snap.
Runs by concept and side, passes with a full route tree, spikes, field goals, and the whole trick bag on every down: flea flicker, halfback pass, reverse, jet sweep, wildcat, Statue of Liberty, hook and ladder, Philly Special, fake kicks. Each result is a real college snap from the same kind of situation, nudged by how good both teams were that season. Tricks carry extra risk, and the defensive look decides whether they are a good idea.
Go for two for real.
A two-point try is a snap from the 3: you call it, it gets animated, and it is graded like every other call.
Manage the clock.
College rules: the clock stops on incompletions, out of bounds, and briefly on first downs inside the final two minutes. Burn a timeout when the clock is running.
Beat the real coach.
When your drive ends, your win chance is compared with what the real head coach got. Daily and Survival grade you on the same curve he gets. Cignetti tightens it. Saban is a cliff. You can retry any daily drive; the first attempt is the one that counts.
Pick your personnel.
10, 11, 12, 13, 21 or 22: backs, tight ends, receivers. Heavy groups block and pull the defense in; four wide spreads it out. When you sub, the defense subs too.
Bench anyone.
Tap a player chip under the field to swap in a backup at that spot, including the backup quarterback. His season numbers come with him.
Survival.
A random drive, then a harder one, then a harder one. Win the game to stay alive; lose once and the run is over. Rounds 7 and up are Cignetti and Saban drives. Cignetti and Saban mode each have their own Survival run inside their own pool.
Saban mode.
A second daily drive from the hopeless end of the pool: 10% to win or worse, or two scores down. Nobody is expected to win these.
Cignetti mode.
One shelf up: 10–25% to win. Hard, not hopeless. Google yourself afterward.
